The creator of Cheburashka, the writer Edward Ouspensky, expressed a curious opinion: in his opinion, the Crimean events divided the Russians into two disproportionate camps.
Only 10% of Russian citizens, from the point of view of Ouspensky, are smart people, while 90% are idiots. The writer himself naturally belongs to the minority who consider the annexation of the Crimea to the Russian Federation a serious mistake.
Ouspensky also expressed support for persecuted Andrei Makarevich.
