Elton John broke his promise

In 2009, the topic of Ukraine’s refusal to the British singer Elton John in the adoption of a child was widely discussed. Fearing bureaucratic delays, the singer gave up the idea, however, he said that he would help the child for the rest of his life.

When the war began in Ukraine, John abandoned his words. It was rumored that the singer helped the family move the kid from Mariupol in war-ridden Kiev to a more peaceful one, however, it turned out that this was not thanks to him, but to a certain charitable foundation.

Elton John prefers to remain silent, not even answering the phone.
