An employee of one of the French universities, Professor Jean-Denise Ruion, made an interesting discovery regarding wearing a bra. The scientist found that the benefits of wearing a bra are not so significant compared to the harm that he does to a woman.

The results of the study may seem controversial, but it turns out that the chest does not sag without a bra, in addition, this element of clothing can prevent the growth of supporting tissues. Working at the University of Franche-Comté, located in the east of France in Besançon, Ruyon conducted research for 15 years, during which he studied 130 women with different sizes of the bust. The women were asked to abandon the bra for some time. The period of time during which women had to do without the usual attribute of clothing was different for everyone — for some a few months, and for someone several years.

All this time, Ruion periodically measured the bust of each participant in the study, armed with a caliper and a slide rule. The measurement results allowed him to argue that the absence of a bra not only keeps the chest in shape, but also prevents back pain. But the wrong bra, squeezing and rubbing, is harmful to health.

At first, 42% of women experienced discomfort without a bra, but after three months it disappeared. It was noticed that without a bra it is more convenient, and the skin improves.
