Scientists from France have identified the relationship between blood type and diabetes.

The object of the study were 82 thousand women with different blood groups.

During the experiment, its participants led a similar way of life. It turned out that women with type I blood are 10% less susceptible to this serious disease than women with group II.

The highest risk of getting diabetes is those who have a combination of positive Rh factor and blood group III - 35% (negative Rh + group III - 21%). Women with group IV are prone to diabetes by 17%.

Despite these alarming numbers, doctors reassure: if you adhere to a healthy and active lifestyle, the disease is quite possible to ignore.
