Since 1994, the life expectancy of Russian citizens has increased by more than 9%. Russia, thus, ranked 12th in the ranking of countries participating in the project "Prolonging Life", where Estonia is in the first place. There, the life expectancy of people increased by as much as 15%.

The researchers took a twenty-year period for a reason, because, in their opinion, this is a renewal period for a whole generation. Today, the life expectancy of Russians is on average seventy and a half years, and twenty years ago - 63 years.

In order to continue to grow this indicator, according to scientists, promotion of a healthy lifestyle, the introduction of a system of co-payments and ... is necessary. reducing spending on health care.
