"Hinder business with idleness - you will live a century with fun!" - says a proverb that is pleasant to the heart of the worker. After nibbling the next piece of granite of science at the institute or violent activity at work, any person needs rest. For this, in every city there are many institutions where you can go alone or in company with friends. The main places of "pilgrimage" vacationing citizens - museums, theaters, cinema and nightclubs. Moreover, if the first two offer to spend time familiarizing themselves with culture and art, the latter promise complete "relaxation" of the brain.

And what do Russian women choose when they get a couple of free hours? Do any of the above establishments visit? The Women's Opinion portal set a goal of a new survey to compare the preferences of lovely ladies in this matter.

Cinema is invariably loved by our compatriots. Those who do not go there at all, only 22.2%. Most (40.3%) manage to get out to the session several times a year, and 14.8% of respondents do once every few years when something special happens on the screen. 17.5% have a desire (or opportunity) to attend a movie every month. The minority turned out to be those who go to the movies once a week, apparently with the goal of reviewing all the new items, including cartoons - 5.2% of the respondents.

Museums and exhibitions enjoy less favor:
41.2% are not interested in either;
40.1% are there every few years;
13.8% go to exhibitions or to the museum once or several times a year;
3.1% - monthly;
1.8% - weekly.

Russian theaters are also cool. This type of leisure activity is alien to 46.6% of ladies surveyed. The rest of the voices were distributed almost the same as on the issue of museums and exhibitions: few who pay attention to the theater at least once a month mostly go to performances a couple of times a year or less.

Nightclubs turned out to be the most unpopular place of leisure. More than half (56.2%) do fine without them. But those who walk go there more often than to theaters and museums: 5% - every week and 6.8% - every month. The rest are rarely selected in nightclubs, out of sports interest or a sense of duty (corporate party, friends' birthdays).

Women explain their passivity in terms of spending leisure time outside the walls of their native home by the presence of children and household chores. In addition, cinema and performances can be watched on the Internet or on DVD, without the tedious road and lines. In the museums of small towns, all exhibits until the last crack were studied as a child, and nightclubs are simply uninteresting to many.

The survey was conducted among 4810 women from 20 to 45 years old from 127 cities of Russia.
