Most of them can be cooked in a slow cooker, which we will do.

Rice with vegetables in a slow cooker - general principles of preparation

The choice of rice variety depends on the recipe and personal preferences. For some dishes, elongated cereal is more suitable. This is usually indicated. But there are recipes in which you can use any rice. Most often, cereal is added to vegetables in raw form, but there are exceptions when you need to boil cereals.

Rice is combined with all vegetables: onions, tomatoes, carrots, peas, corn, peppers and so on. Often use frozen mixes for dishes. Almost all spices, sauces, herbs are also suitable for cereal. For cooking, you can use any oil or fat.

Simple rice with vegetables in a slow cooker

A variant of the usual dish, which can be called vegetarian pilaf. For such rice with vegetables, you will need the simplest products that are in any kitchen.

Ingredients

• 0.1 kg of carrots;

• 0.1 kg of sweet pepper;

• 0.1 kg of onions (more can be);

• a glass of rice;

• two glasses of water, the second is slightly incomplete;

• 4 tablespoons of oil;

• 2 cloves of garlic.

Cooking

1. In general, you can cook a simple dish by putting all the prepared ingredients in a slow cooker and cooking on the pilaf program. But you can make it much tastier. Go? We clean all the vegetables, cut as you like, you can just rub the carrots.

2. Heat the oil. We throw onions in it, fry it on a baking program.

3. Add the carrots and a few minutes later chopped pepper. We cook vegetables until golden brown and have a pleasant aroma.

4. While the mixture is fried, the rice needs to be washed. We use cold water.

5. Put all kinds of spices in the fried vegetables, you can just throw a little seasoning for pilaf. Hold for a couple of minutes for the spices to dissolve the aroma and add rice.

6. Next, pour boiling water, the amount of water is indicated by prescription. If steamed rice is used, then 1.5 cups of water can be poured, it will be enough.

7. Stir, throw whole cloves of garlic and rearrange the work of the multicooker to the Pilaf program. Cooking before the signal.

Rice with frozen vegetables in a slow cooker

The recipe for rice and frozen vegetable mix. The exact composition of the mix does not really matter, choose to your taste. Rice is desirable to use large and long, with it the dish turns out more beautiful.

Ingredients

• 500 grams of frozen mixture;

• 1 glass of rice;

• spices;

Cooking

1. Put the oil in the slow cooker, set the frying mode.

2. Spread vegetables immediately and cook for half an hour. During this time, they will thaw and reach the desired degree of readiness.

3. Rinse the rice, preferably until transparent.

4. Pour the cereal into the slow cooker.

5. Pour water and put spices. To make the rice a little sticky, add 2 cups of water. If you want to get a more friable dish, then 1.5 measuring cups are enough.

6. Close, turn on the quenching mode and cook for 20 minutes.

7. Then we leave the vegetables with rice for another half hour, without opening the slow cooker.

8. We complete the finished dish of vegetables with rice with fresh herbs.

Rice with vegetables and mushrooms in a slow cooker

Mushroom version of a rice dish with vegetables in a slow cooker. For all its simplicity, it turns out to be very satisfying and tasty. Mushrooms are used any boiled.

Ingredients

• 0.3 kg of mushrooms;

• 1.5 cups of rice;

• 2 carrots;

• 2 onions;

• 1 pepper;

• 3 glasses of water (or broth, you can take a mushroom broth);

• 50 ml of oil.

Cooking

1. Heat the oil. First, use the baking mode.

2. Cut all the vegetables into small strips. First we throw the onion, fry a little.

3. Next to it we throw the prepared carrot and after a while the pepper. Passing together.

4. Prepare the mushrooms. They should already be boiled. If the mushrooms are large, then cut into several parts.

5. Fry mushrooms with vegetables together. We put spices, also warm a little.

6. Rice washed many times, as for cooking pilaf. We send to vegetables with mushrooms.

7. Pour water. You can add part of the mushroom broth in which the product was boiled. The dish will be even more aromatic.

8. Close, cook on porridge for half an hour. Then let stand for another ten minutes and you can serve!

Rice with vegetables and chicken in a slow cooker

Another recipe for rice with vegetables in a slow cooker, which will require a frozen mixture. Chicken breast from one carcass, i.e. 2 fillets, is also used. The dish turns out to be especially beautiful and useful if you use brown rice or its mixture with a white variety.

Ingredients

• 1 pack of frozen vegetables (0.4-0.5 kg);

• 1 breast;

• a multi-glass of rice;

• 2 tablespoons of oil;

• seasoning to taste.

Cooking

1. Rinse the breast, cut into cubes with sides two centimeters.

2. Run the chicken in a slow cooker with oil, fry a little in a suitable mode.

3. Add vegetables on top and add salt. The mixture must never be thawed in advance.

4. Now the turn of rice. Sort it, be sure to rinse and pour over vegetables. Do not mix!

5. Rice on top also a little salt, sprinkle with spices. If you like spicy, you can add ketchup chili or a spoon of Georgian adjika.

6. Pour in boiling water. This amount will take one full glass and 2/3 of the second. Use the same multi-glass you took for rice.

7. Close the slow cooker.

8. Cook the dish in pilaf before the signal.

9. Stir the finished dish well, breaking the layers and serve.

Chinese-style rice cooker with eggs in a slow cooker

The recipe for a Chinese dish, which is cooked with boiled rice. It is advisable to use a long cereal. This recipe is good because it will help turn the remnants of the rice side dish into a delicious, full-fledged dish.

Ingredients

• 0.25 kg of boiled rice;

• a glass of green peas;

• 2 cloves of garlic;

• a piece of ginger;

• 50 ml of oil;

• 4 eggs;

• 3 tablespoons of soy sauce;

• green onions.

Cooking

1. Take the garlic, peel both cloves and chop with a shallow straw.

2. Take a piece of ginger, the size of both cloves of garlic and also cut into strips.

3. Put both ingredients in oil preheated during baking and fry a little.

4. As soon as the pleasant aroma goes, add a glass of green peas. If it is frozen, then fry until the water evaporates completely.

5. Next, put boiled rice and cook together with peas.

6. Pour in soy sauce, stir.

7. Break the eggs into a bowl, shake with a fork until light foam.

8. Pour raw eggs to the peas with rice and begin to intensively stir with a spatula, let the omelet grasp, but do not overcook. The egg should remain soft.

9. Transfer the dish to the plates in portions.

10. Cut a lot of green onions and sprinkle thickly on plates while it is hot. Immediately serve.

Rice with vegetables and meat in a slow cooker

A variant of a dish of green peas, meat and rice with vegetables in a slow cooker. You can use pork, veal or other meat, but without pits.

Ingredients

• 0.4 kg of meat;

• 0.15 kg peas;

• 1.5 cups of rice;

• 3 glasses of water;

• 2 carrots;

• 1 onion;

• 40 ml of oil.

Cooking

1. To cook meat quickly, you need to cut it correctly. First, strip a piece into several plates, gently tap with a hammer, then shred with straws.

2. Throw meat into a slow cooker, in which by this time the oil should already be heated, the baking program is used.

3. Fry the meat for about fifteen minutes.

4. Add the onion, cut it in half rings or straws.

5. Shred the carrots and send them in about five minutes to the onion.

6. Next add the peas, cook the vegetables together until the onions are transparent.

7. We prepare rice according to the rules. That is, we rinse, sort out and drain all the liquid. We pour to vegetables with meat.

8. Fill with prescription water, use boiling water.

9. We throw spices, garlic, launch laurel.

10. Close, cook on the program Pilaf before the signal. Turn off, let the rice stand for even distribution of moisture in the dish.

Rice with vegetables and asparagus beans in a slow cooker

A recipe for a very nutritious and tasty dish, despite the lack of meat in it. Rice is pre-cooked until almost cooked. The recipe indicates the weight of the boiled product.

Ingredients

• 250 grams of asparagus beans;

• 2 onion heads;

• 1 carrot;

• 350 grams of rice;

• 2 tablespoons of olive oil;

• 1 clove of garlic;

• 30 ml of soy sauce.

Cooking

1. Boil rice, but not until fully cooked. The cereal should remain whole, a little hard.

2. Onion and carrot fry in two tablespoons of oil. We use the baking program for preliminary frying.

3. Add asparagus to vegetables, cook together for about a quarter of an hour, stir occasionally. All water should evaporate from the asparagus, the pods will become soft.

4. Add soy sauce, spread rice, stir and throw chopped garlic.

5. Pour in five tablespoons of water, close the slow cooker.

6. We turn on the quenching program and cook for 15-20 minutes.

7. Sprinkle the finished dish with plenty of herbs.

Rice with vegetables in a slow cooker - useful tips and tricks

• Rice loves precise proportions and should not be neglected. On average, a glass of cereal is 2 cups of liquid. If you want to cook a friable, non-sticky dish, then you can add 1.5 parts of water. The same amount is poured if there are a lot of juicy vegetables and mushrooms in the dish.

• Boiled rice will be much tastier if you add a little oil during cooking. You can also add spices, soy sauce to the water.

• When adding liquid to a multicooker, you need to use cool boiling water. This will reduce not only the cooking time, but also improve the taste of the dish. If you pour in the broth, then it also needs to be brought to a boil. Spices and salt can be dissolved in liquids, so they are distributed evenly.
