How to cook cabbage rolls in a slow cooker - general principles of cooking

Most suitable for cabbage rolls is young white cabbage.

In order to make its leaves more pliable, you need to hold the head in boiling water for about ten minutes. Before this, it is advisable to remove the stump.

After being in hot water, the leaves easily lag behind the head of cabbage. They need to be put on a plate for cooling.

The hard part on the leaves must be very carefully cut.

As a rule, the main ingredients of cabbage rolls are minced meat and rice. You can use other cereals, for example, buckwheat or millet. It is either pre-boiled in a multicooker bowl or put in raw meat in raw form.

Onion, garlic, carrot, bell pepper, tomatoes, salt and pepper are added to the meat mixture.

Approximately two tablespoons are placed on each cabbage leaf. Then it is wrapped with an envelope or tube. It turns out a semi-finished product of stuffed cabbage.

On a slow cooker, you can equally well cook fried cabbage rolls, or a steamed dish. But quenching is a universal way and suitable for everyone.

Ingredients:

• 0.400 kg of minced meat;

• 0, 200 kg of cabbage leaves;

• one onion;

• a cup of rice;

• one egg;

• two tablespoons tomato paste;

• 0.15 l of sour cream;

• four cloves of garlic;

• four tablespoons vegetable oil;

• salt and pepper.

Cooking method:

  1. Boil until cooked rice.

  2. Wash cabbage leaves and scalded with boiling water.

  3. Chop garlic cloves and onion very finely. Mix with minced meat.

  4. We drive an egg into it, pour boiled rice, add salt, pepper and mix well.

• six tomatoes;

• two tablespoons vegetable oil;

• four cloves of garlic;

• four shallots (or one onion);

• two tablespoons fish sauce;

• two teaspoons Sahara;

• a glass of meat broth.

Cooking method:

  1. Blanch the leaves of cabbage in hot water.

  2. Using a blender, grind onions, mushrooms and cloves of garlic.

  3. Pour rice noodles with warm water and leave for about fifteen minutes.

• head of cabbage;

• vegetable oil.

Cooking method:

  1. Prepare the cabbage leaves. To do this, immerse the head of cabbage in water, bring to a boil. Give a few minutes to water the glass. We disassemble the head of cabbage into leaves and cut off the hard part.

  2. Cut the carrots into strips, and the onion into half rings.

  3. Pour two tablespoons of vegetable oil to the bottom of the multicooker cup, load the vegetables. We start the program "Frying" for ten minutes.

Cooking method:

  1. We wash the rice and send it to boil in the crock-pot. Pour two glasses of water from above.

  2. In the "Menu" we select the time: set the timer for ten minutes, press "Start".

  3. Prepare the cabbage. Remove the stump, put the head in a large bowl, pour boiling water. Let it lie down until rice is cooked.

  4. Using a blender, grind onions and garlic.

  5. Put the minced meat in a deep bowl. Add cooked rice and a mixture of onions and garlic.

  6. Break the egg into the minced meat. Salt and pepper. Stir the meat mixture after adding each ingredient.

• four garlic cloves;

• 200 gr. white cabbage;

• two teaspoons seasonings for minced meat;

• one dining room soy sauce;

• five branches of dill;

• 25 gr. butter;

Cooking method:

  1. Tomatoes slightly cut and pour boiling water. Remove the skin from them.

  2. In a meat grinder, we twist the turkey fillet, garlic and onions.

  3. In the meat mixture, put the seasoning for minced meat and mix.

  4. Bell pepper cut into strips.

  5. Using a coarse grater, grind the carrots.

  6. Peeled tomatoes are cut into cubes of approximately five millimeters.

  7. We lay vegetables in the slow cooker.

  8. Pour with soy sauce and a third cup of clean water.

  9. Close the slow cooker, set it to the "Extinguishing" mode and set the timer for fifteen minutes.

  10. Then we start the "Frying" mode for a quarter of an hour. Stir the vegetables periodically.

  11. Add minced meat and fry for five minutes.

How to cook cabbage rolls in a slow cooker - tricks and useful tips

  • Stuffed cabbage can be cooked in advance and frozen. When there is not enough time for cooking, these convenience foods will help out. Very quickly, with the help of a multicooker, a finished dish is obtained.

  • Large cabbage leaves can be cut and make cabbage rolls less than half. Then in the bowl of the multicooker they are laid out in two layers.

  • Rice, which is added to the meat, must be washed. If this is not done, cabbage rolls will be sticky inside.
